These are a collection of different crime thriller companies and their production company logos. After researching a variety of different company logos including ones of other genres, some of the general conventions became clear. Most logos we came across appeared to be dark in colour, such as blacks, blues, greys etc. They generally show low key lighting and little saturation as many are simply black and white. These dark colours connote the disturbing tone to the films as they show no conventions of positive images/prints/fonts. Most fonts shown were also San Serif which foreshadows the bluntness and brutality of the films produced. As shown the backgrounds are generally black with a small image/logo and Titles/font below.
